Immigrants and especially immigrant workers are often hated on for doing exactly what everyone else does, Trying to make a living. It really doesn't matter what country, what culture or what boat you are in, often people's own insecurities and unearned privileges rob them of any right direction to the sense common to rest of the sapiens.
We've already heard and seen such nonsense happen many times before in developed countries like the U.S. and Canada. Where the rednecks and racists old men often blab out such terms after their morning whiskey.
But who am I to judge anyone! Heck, I am soo dingy between the ears that I barely fit into this pseudo-science of make-believe intellects of our society.
Nowadays, such discrimination's been going on quite rampantly in some economically forward states of India. A culturally biased trend, I myself have been a witness of personally. To name a few, Maharashtra (My personal exp), Kerala, Karnataka etc..
The biggest issue, that I've noticed that the locals of such areas have with the immigrants is that the immigrants are not belonging to their religion or their culture, and the very idea of them immigrants not embracing what they belong to and on top of that bringing their own language and culture there is what pisses them the F off. Very Reasonable, I know. It's like monkeys hating on fishes for not being able to climb trees, a crime of nature that is.
The biggest irony behind this "laughable-right-from-its-core-existence" hatred for the outsiders by the locals of these provinces is that the very reason these "Advanced" states are so, is because of these immigrants who come over, bring a pile of cash with them to spend, provide scores of services right from cleaning gutters to writing revolutionary codes in the IT MNCs, what bring even more cash into the economy for the government to spend on their own infrastructural and social development.
Again, like I said in the very beginning of the post, No Civilized person would ever even think like that, so we could only expect such behaviors from people Privileged by Geography, Damned by Upbringing.
So in the end, for those who travel for a work, education, health care and other amenities of a developed city, then ignore the fools who pee in their own doors, instead try to focus on your own goals.
And for those who disagree with this post and do think that north Indians or any outsider ruin your society or spoil your culture, then kindly stop availing products and services like: Almost Any kind of delivery service like pizza delivery and courier delivery etc, any cab services, any customer service, and last but not least stop using any garbage facilities that your govt provides you, because the majority percentage of the workforce behind all these products and services are outsiders. Think of that before criticizing any outsider the next time.

Banglore a place of IT hub becomes most expensive city due to immigrant who go there for living and wants a stable life. A barber who earned Rs.200 in 2001 is earning Rs.700 due to more immigrants coming to bangalore and looking for peaceful Life and What They hear from south Indians is "bcoz of u immigrant city is in bad condition".
